If a Hawaiian sunset decided it needed petals, KA’s® Aloha would have a pretty good case for the job.

A 2026 introduction bred by Kristine Albrecht of Santa Cruz Dahlias in California, KA’s® Aloha is part of Kristine’s colorful Bright Series. Its approximately 4.5-inch Formal Decorative blooms bring together warm yellow, apricot, peach, and soft pink tones in a glowing blend that looks like somebody stuffed golden hour into a dahlia.

And Aloha isn't just pretty.

Plants grow approximately 5 feet tall, producing these sunset-colored blooms on tall stems with excellent presence in both the garden and cutting patch. It’s a productive variety with the kind of coloring that plays exceptionally well with other warm-toned flowers without quietly disappearing into the bouquet.

Basically, Aloha understands the assignment: show up, look fabulous, and make everything standing next to it look more expensive.
