KA’s® Boho Rose Dahlia
Dusty rose, soft mauve, a whisper of peach—and apparently no off switch. KA’s® Boho Rose packs romantic color into tidy 3-inch ball blooms on a plant that seems determined to earn its keep.
KA’s® Boho Rose is a 2026 introduction hybridized by Kristine Albrecht of Santa Cruz Dahlias in California, United States.
This one may look soft and romantic, but don't let the color fool you.
The approximately 3-inch Mini Ball blooms open in a beautiful dusty rose to soft mauve-pink, with warmer peachy-blush tones developing toward the outer petals. It's one of those colors that's difficult to shove into a single box—which is exactly what makes it so useful in bouquets.
It plays beautifully with blush, cream, peach, mauve, and other muted garden tones without disappearing into the background.
And then it gets to work.
KA’s® Boho Rose has been described as an abundant bloomer and a true garden workhorse, and firsthand 2026 grower experience backs that up. Plants stay around 3 feet tall while producing a steady supply of those compact ball-form flowers.
That combination makes it especially useful for cutting gardens and floral design.
You get a manageable plant, a practical 3-inch bloom, a color that works with half the flower bucket, and production that apparently did not receive the memo about moderation.
Basically, Boho Rose showed up looking like it belongs in a soft-focus wedding photo and then proceeded to work a double shift.
Respect.

Moose’s Take
This is exactly the kind of dahlia I like when the pretty flower also remembers it has a job.
The color gets you first. That dusty rose and mauve-pink palette with a little warm peach sneaking around the outer petals is ridiculously easy to use. It can wander into blush, cream, peach, or mauve combinations without starting an argument with anything already in the bucket.
But the production is what really catches my attention.
A 3-inch ball bloom is already an extremely useful size for cutting. Put that on a roughly 3-foot plant that growers are describing as an absolute workhorse, and now we're talking about something more interesting than just another nice-looking introduction.
I want dahlias that make flowers.
Not three gorgeous blooms, a dramatic entrance, and then six weeks of personal reflection.
Boho Rose appears to understand the assignment.
And I like that it doesn't need to be loud to be memorable. The color is soft, the form is tidy, and the whole thing feels polished without looking fussy.
Basically, this is the floral equivalent of somebody showing up in linen, looking effortlessly put together, and then somehow doing more work than everyone else at the party.
The Moose approves.
