🇦🇺⚡ Short Teaser

Araluen Leatrice is a delicate 4″ formal decorative in soft baby pink with tiny gold-tipped petals — a lovely blend rarely seen. Moose says she’s a real workhorse too, producing more blooms than I expected and standing out in the patch like she owns the place.

🌸 Full Product Description

✨ Dahlia ‘Araluen Leatrice’ — Soft Pink Glam with Golden Hints

This Australian variety blends elegance and subtle drama. Its blooms open in formal decorative form, averaging about 4 inches across, and show a baby-pink palette that matures toward a soft linen-pink. The petal tips often carry tiny golden accents, adding a whisper of luxury to each flower. (Bilpin Dahlias)

The plant grows to around 3 to 4 feet tall, with long stems well-suited for cutting. Belgravia Homestead reports Leatrice as roughly 4 feet tall and 4″ blooms.

In cooler seasons, the pink tones mellow, giving more of a linen-rose wash — perfect for mixing with whites, neutrals, or stronger pinks. Wild Violet Flower Farm describes it as ideal for weddings and positions it as “dream color and shape.”

This isn’t just a pretty face — Leatrice is also noted for being floriferous. The Gardening Moose confesses I’ve walked past her rows more times than I’d admit just to see every new bud open. She’s one that pulls you in quietly, then holds your gaze.
