Breannon is an Australian-bred small formal decorative dahlia hybridized by Jenny Parish of Country Dahlias in Victoria, Australia. It's one of those dahlias that seems almost designed for floral work, combining an unusual color palette with excellent production and strong cutting stems.

The color can change considerably from bloom to bloom. In our field, we've seen everything from soft blush and champagne-peach to warmer apricot, coral and salmon, often glowing with creamy yellow undertones. The real signature is the center, where the petals develop beautiful raspberry, mauve and purple tones that give the flower remarkable depth.

Breannon is also an excellent cut-flower variety. Plants are prolific producers with long, strong stems and a long flowering season, making this much more than just another pretty pastel dahlia. Its warm, muted coloring works especially well in wedding work, romantic palettes and late-summer arrangements.

Shipping & Delivery

Rooted cuttings ship April 1 – May 15 via UPS 2nd Day Air. Orders are shipped when plants are ready and weather conditions are appropriate for safe travel. Because of the volume of orders we process during shipping season, orders cannot be combined. You’ll receive tracking information when your order ships.

What You'll Receive

You’ll receive a healthy, actively growing rooted dahlia cutting that has been professionally propagated and grown by Dapper Dahlias By Moose.

Once fully rooted, the plant is removed from its growing container with the rooted propagation plug intact, then carefully bagged and packed for shipping. Your cutting will arrive ready to be potted up or planted after appropriate acclimation.

Because these are live plants, size and appearance will naturally vary from plant to plant.

When your cutting arrives, open the package promptly and inspect the plant. Any concerns with your order must be reported within 3 days of delivery and include photos.

Rooted cuttings have been grown in protected greenhouse conditions and will need to be gradually acclimated to outdoor conditions before planting outside.
