Coorabell Amy is a striking Australian-bred decorative dahlia from the Wedd family’s Coorabell breeding program in New South Wales. Introduced in 2021, Amy combines an unusual, sophisticated color palette with tall plants, strong stems and impressive blooms.

The color is difficult to capture with a single word. In our field, the flowers develop beautiful shades of smoky pink, dusty rose and muted mauve, sometimes picking up warmer copper-pink undertones as the blooms mature and the light changes. The result is a soft, antique-looking color that pairs beautifully with blush, cream, burgundy and other muted floral palettes.

And these aren’t little flowers. Our blooms reach approximately 6 inches across, creating substantial flowers without losing the beautifully layered decorative form.

Coorabell Amy is also an excellent variety for the cutting garden. Plants grow tall and flower prolifically, producing long stems that make those large, beautifully colored blooms especially useful for bouquets and floral design.

Rooted cuttings ship April 1 – May 15 via UPS 2nd Day Air. Orders are shipped when plants are ready and weather conditions are appropriate for safe travel. Because of the volume of orders we process during shipping season, orders cannot be combined. You’ll receive tracking information when your order ships.

What You'll Receive

You’ll receive a healthy, actively growing rooted dahlia cutting that has been professionally propagated and grown by Dapper Dahlias By Moose.

Once fully rooted, the plant is removed from its growing container with the rooted propagation plug intact, then carefully bagged and packed for shipping. Your cutting will arrive ready to be potted up or planted after appropriate acclimation.

Because these are live plants, size and appearance will naturally vary from plant to plant.

When your cutting arrives, open the package promptly and inspect the plant. Any concerns with your order must be reported within 3 days of delivery and include photos.

Rooted cuttings have been grown in protected greenhouse conditions and will need to be gradually acclimated to outdoor conditions before planting outside.
