Florelie Tutu is an Australian-bred miniature informal decorative dahlia from Lorelie Merton of Florelie Seasonal Flowers. Released in 2022, it produces fluffy, heavily layered blooms with distinctive split and slightly fringed petal tips that give the flower its appropriately tutu-like appearance.

Most of our blooms open in a beautiful lavender-pink to orchid-pink, often with deeper pink toward the center and softer lavender tones toward the outer petals. But Tutu likes changing costumes: some blooms develop substantial amounts of white and pale blush, occasionally producing flowers that are nearly white around the outside with a pink center. That natural color variation is part of the personality of this variety and can occur on the same plants throughout the season.

Tutu is also much more than a novelty bloom. It is a productive plant with good stems and is well suited for cutting, bouquets and floral design.

Rooted cuttings ship April 1 – May 15 via UPS 2nd Day Air. Orders are shipped when plants are ready and weather conditions are appropriate for safe travel. Because of the volume of orders we process during shipping season, orders cannot be combined. You’ll receive tracking information when your order ships.

What You'll Receive

You’ll receive a healthy, actively growing rooted dahlia cutting that has been professionally propagated and grown by Dapper Dahlias By Moose.

Once fully rooted, the plant is removed from its growing container with the rooted propagation plug intact, then carefully bagged and packed for shipping. Your cutting will arrive ready to be potted up or planted after appropriate acclimation.

Because these are live plants, size and appearance will naturally vary from plant to plant.

When your cutting arrives, open the package promptly and inspect the plant. Any concerns with your order must be reported within 3 days of delivery and include photos.

Rooted cuttings have been grown in protected greenhouse conditions and will need to be gradually acclimated to outdoor conditions before planting outside.
