🇦🇺⚡ Short Teaser

Formby Pearl, bred by George Harding of Formby Dahlias, Tasmania, Australia, is a miniature formal decorative in pearlescent blush-white with a whisper of lilac in the center. I have to admit — this one’s been quietly one of my favorite little pearls in the patch (yes, Moose bias).

🌸 Full Product Description

✨ Dahlia ‘Formby Pearl’ — Pearl-Tone Chic in Petite Form

From George Harding’s Formby breeding line in Tasmania, Formby Pearl offers delicacy and elegance in garden scale. Its miniature formal decorative blooms (~2–3.5″) present soft white–cream petals that often carry a tint of lilac or blush in the center depending on conditions. Its form is neat and ordered, making it showy even at small size.

Growers describe the plant as moderate in height with excellent stems for cutting, meaning you get dainty blooms with practical utility. One listing notes “moderate sized plant with great stems.” Serenade Farm
Another plant retailer describes Formby Pearl as “mini decorative … white with a lavender centre … colouring can vary throughout the season.” Koala Hill Flower Farm

The Gardening Moose says: I may be big and rugged, but this tiny bloom has me sidling through the rows just to sneak a glance — that’s real floral magnetism.
