KA’s® Apricot Kiss is what happens when yellow decides plain yellow simply isn’t dressed well enough.

A 2026 introduction bred by Kristine Albrecht of Santa Cruz Dahlias in California, Apricot Kiss is part of the colorful KA’s® Bright Series. Its approximately 5-inch Formal Decorative blooms open in a clear, cheerful yellow that warms into a soft apricot center.

The result is bright without being loud—more sunrise than traffic cone.

That gentle apricot glow gives the flower enough warmth to play beautifully with peach, coral, cream, and other sunny tones, while still bringing plenty of color to the garden on its own.

Plants reach approximately 3.5 feet tall according to Kristine Albrecht’s own cultivar records, making Apricot Kiss comparatively manageable while still producing substantial blooms for cutting and display.
