KA's® Honeycomb Dahlia

Some dahlias bring the drama. KA's® Honeycomb brings the sweetness—and apparently has no intention of taking a day off. With perfectly rounded miniature ball blooms in soft peach and rosy-pink tones, this little powerhouse proves that good things really do come in small packages.

Hybridized by Kristine Albrecht of Santa Cruz Dahlias and introduced in 2025, KA's® Honeycomb produces beautifully formed blooms approximately 2.5 inches across. Its tightly arranged petals transition from a warm, rosy center into soft, luxurious peach, creating a delicate blend of color that looks right at home in romantic bouquets and garden arrangements. Subtle honey-gold undertones add another dimension to its coloring.

Don't let its compact stature fool you. Growing approximately 2 feet tall, Honeycomb has earned praise for its early flowering, abundant production, and long, strong cutting stems. Stonehouse Dahlias describes it as remarkably consistent in flower form, color, and productivity throughout the growing season.

The petite, rounded blooms are especially useful for floral design, where they add texture without overwhelming an arrangement. Pair Honeycomb with creams, blush pinks, apricots, and other soft-toned dahlias for a warm, coordinated palette. The Moose was initially disappointed to discover that KA's Honeycomb doesn't actually produce honey.

Then he saw how many flowers it produces and decided to forgive the misleading advertising.

The bees can handle the honey. This one's in charge of looking fabulous.

Shipping & Delivery

Rooted cuttings ship April 1 – May 15 via UPS 2nd Day Air. Orders are shipped when plants are ready and weather conditions are appropriate for safe travel. Because of the volume of orders we process during shipping season, orders cannot be combined. You’ll receive tracking information when your order ships.

What You'll Receive

You’ll receive a healthy, actively growing rooted dahlia cutting that has been professionally propagated and grown by Dapper Dahlias By Moose.

Once fully rooted, the plant is removed from its growing container with the rooted propagation plug intact, then carefully bagged and packed for shipping. Your cutting will arrive ready to be potted up or planted after appropriate acclimation.

Because these are live plants, size and appearance will naturally vary from plant to plant.

When your cutting arrives, open the package promptly and inspect the plant. Any concerns with your order must be reported within 3 days of delivery and include photos.

Rooted cuttings have been grown in protected greenhouse conditions and will need to be gradually acclimated to outdoor conditions before planting outside.
