KA’s® Morning Dew has the kind of color that makes you stare at it for a second and then wonder why every other flower isn’t trying harder.

A 2026 introduction bred by Kristine Albrecht of Santa Cruz Dahlias in California, Morning Dew produces approximately 3.5-inch Miniature Formal Decorative blooms on productive plants reaching around 4 feet tall.

The color is a beautifully soft blend of warm coral-pink and peach, with a subtle glow toward the center that gives the bloom a luminous, almost backlit appearance. It is exactly the kind of color that slips easily into bouquets without disappearing—which is why Morning Dew has earned a reputation as an excellent blender.

But this one isn’t surviving on looks alone.

Strong stems and high productivity make Morning Dew particularly useful in the cutting garden, while its smaller 3.5-inch blooms bring plenty of structure without overwhelming an arrangement.

Basically, it plays nicely with everybody else and still manages to get noticed.

Morning Dew is soft, peachy, pink, productive, and apparently gets along beautifully with everything in the bouquet.

The Moose has been told this is called being a “good blender.”

Personally, I prefer “flower with excellent social skills.”
