🇺🇸⚡ Short Teaser
Lee’s Pink Grapefruit, bred by Lee Hemmings Carlton / Goldenrod Gardens, is a ~5″ laciniated bloom in fizzy coral-pink over creamy tones, on ~4 ft tall stems. This one’s swaggered into my Moose roster — bold, just a little playfully torn, and always dressed to dazzle.
🌸 Full Product Description
✨ Dahlia ‘Lee’s Pink Grapefruit’ — A Citrus Twist in Petal Form
Straight from Lee Hemmings Carlton’s Goldenrod Gardens, Pink Grapefruit lives up to its name. Its laciniated petals (those slightly shredded, fringe-y edges) add texture and flair, while the color dances between soft coral-pink and creamy hues. The effect is fizzy, light, and undeniably eye-catching.
Despite its statement-making look, it’s a workhorse: repeated flushes of blooms top long, dark, strong stems. Plants height is about 4 ft. According to Goldenrod, the petals are densely packed and resist bruising well, making it ideal for cutting and shipping.
The Gardening Moose says: if a giant wants to flirt with elegance, Pink Grapefruit is the bloom I break out in my finest antlers for.
