Bred by Levi Tremblay of Levi’s Dahlias in the United States and introduced in 2025, this variety delivers a remarkable combination of warm colors. Golden yellow, glowing orange, rich bronze, and fiery red mingle across the petals, creating blooms that look like they've captured the last few minutes of a spectacular summer sunset.

I've spent enough time working in greenhouses to know that when something starts glowing orange and red, you generally want to investigate pretty quickly.

Fortunately, Levi’s Sunfire is the kind of fire I'm happy to have spreading through the garden.

What really catches my attention is the combination of colors. Instead of a single shade of orange or yellow, you get a whole range of fiery tones working together. It's the sort of flower that can make an ordinary bouquet look like somebody put some serious thought into the color palette.

And with early grower reports suggesting good productivity and tuber production, there's more to be excited about than just a pretty face.

My advice? Plant Sunfire where you can enjoy those glowing blooms up close. This is one fire you definitely don't want to put out.
