I've spent enough time around flowers to know that Mother Nature has a pretty impressive imagination, but every once in a while she comes up with something that makes you wonder what she was thinking.

RM Honey Hive is one of those.

Those inward-curving petals really do give the flower a beehive-like appearance, and the honey, peach, and pink coloring couldn't be more appropriate.

It's a wonderfully unusual little bloom, especially on a plant that can reach 5 feet tall.

And as someone who spends a fair amount of time around greenhouses, I appreciate a flower that can create this much buzz without a single bee involved.

Of course, if the bees start asking for royalties, we're going to have a problem.
