🌸 Full Product Description
✨ Dahlia ‘Sandia Nocturne’ — Deep Violet Drama in Waterlily Form
From American breeders Steve & Sandy Boley, Sandia Nocturne is a 2023 introduction that commands attention. Its large waterlily-style blooms open wide, showing off saturated violet-purple petals that seem to glow in both shade and sun. Some blooms may feature a gently toothed edge, adding texture and visual interest.
Height is no slouch — this variety reaches 4 to 5 feet tall, sending up long, sturdy stems ideal for cutting and show displays. Each stalk is like a runway for those dramatic blooms. The Gardening Moose says it’s the kind of dahlia that makes him second-guess his need for tall boots — the blooms are tall enough to make him look a little dainty.
